Song of the Stars. Zulu Shaman: Dreams, Prophecies & Mysteries by Credo Mutwa.

When it comes to Shamanism the book Zulu Shaman by Credo Mutwa is a must have. Definitely becoming fastly one of my favorite books on Shamanism. I love the way the Zulu Myths are presented so much through out the book weaving a tale of spiritual soul soaring and enlightenment. As well as the interactions with star beings going in shamanic practices in Zulu mysticism that you will not find anywhere else known to civilized man except through this excellent book that is a must own for anyone on the medicine path.

Credo Mutwa tells the story of his life through out Africa and with his father. Then delves into the stories of the Trickster god Kintu and the tales of all creation. Known for his work with David Icke in the series The Reptilian Agenda Credo is a master shaman. Teaching us all he knows with out hesitance relaying a message for mankind of wisdom and enlightenment. Singing the song of the stars literally by weaving together his intelligence and history of his legacy as a medicineman. I have always had a fetish for folklore and these stories definitely touch the soul and let you know that tribes across the Earth are indeed in alignment with the source of the star people. The star people who are pure and positive and here to help us and even though there are stories of evil it seems good always prevails for the most part.

Medicine for the spirit that is meant to heal and bring forth the glow of the universe on our faces. I cannot recommend this book enough and tell you to get it as soon as you can and delves into its depths to learn the ways of the Zulu Shaman. It is unforgettable and I could easily read it over and probably will in the future.

Available from Inner Traditions.

Offers a rare view into the world of a Zulu shaman
• Includes 14 Zulu myths as told by a traditional Zulu story keeper
• Reveals Zulu shamanic practices, including healing techniques, dreamwork, oracles, prophecy, and interactions with star beings
In this rare window into Zulu mysticism, Vusamazulu Credo Mutwa breaks the bonds of traditional silence to share his personal experiences as a sangoma—a Zulu shaman. Set against the backdrop of post-colonial South Africa, Zulu Shaman relays the first-person accounts of an African healer and reveals the cosmology of the Zulu.
Mutwa begins with the compelling story of his personal journey as an English-trained Christian schoolteacher who receives a calling to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps as a shaman and keeper of folklore. He then tells the stories of his ancestors, including creation myths; how evil came to the world; the adventures of the trickster god Kintu; and Zulu relations with the “fiery visitors,” whom he likens to extraterrestrials. In an attempt to preserve the knowledge of his ancestors and encourage his vision of a world united in peace and harmony, Mutwa also shares previously guarded secrets of Zulu healing and spiritual practices: including the curing power of the sangoma and the psychic powers of his people.
