Third Eye Show #54. Salt Cave, Tai Chi, Medicine Wheel, Rescue Farm
Today’s Third Eye Show includes eclectic offerings from many different traditions. First, we visit the salt cave in Rutland, Vermont, which confers many wellness benefits and is modeled on those of Poland. Next, we receive a primer in the ancient Chinese art of tai chi from Jesse Labow. The practice of tai chi bestows stability and balance to the body. Then, our friend Fran Longo-Russo leads us on a cleansing and invigorating journey using the Medicine Wheel of Peru, in which we may discover ourselves anew. After that, we check in with Sara Poisson, who with her husband Paul, runs the Thyme & Ewe Farm in rural New Hampshire, a haven of love and healing for abused and abandoned farm animals. There we meet Stanley the Starling, the latest member of their family. And finally, Lucia Read contemplates the many benefits of democracy in action, as exemplified by public access TV. We’ve crammed a world of ideas into today’s Third Eye Show.
